In the puzzle game The Secret of the Monks, you are members of the Lodge of the White Monks. When you arrive at Esrum Kloster & Møllegård, you are given mysterious letters that you must use to find and solve puzzles around the monastery, both inside the exhibitions and out in nature.
You must solve the puzzles because they will lead you to the lodge’s lost chest, which hides an 800-year-old secret.
It is important that you, as members of the lodge, find the secret because it must not be revealed to anyone else!

Visit us during the fall break from October 12 - 20 and try the puzzle game 'The Monks' Secret' with brand new puzzles.
Together you'll embark on an adventurous journey as members of the White Monks' Lodge in search of a chest containing an 800-year-old secret.
In the puzzle game Monk's Secret, you'll work together as a real detective family.
The guessing game can be played between 10 am - 4 pm and is aimed at children from 8 years and up.
The game lasts approximately one hour.

Drawing workshop and magic elixirs
In addition to the puzzle game, you can also try a lot of other fun activities for all ages.
Visit our writing workshop where you can write in code and paint with ink pens.
Mix your very own magical elixir to enjoy while you get your vamen around the fire.
If you dare, you can also listen to some mystical tales read by our skilled storytellers inside Esrum Kloster.
Visit the nature playground
If you have more energy to burn, you can also take a trip to the nature playground, which harks back to the Middle Ages with a manor house, marketplace, cable car, gentle swing, herring barrels, farmer’s pigs and much more.
Enjoy the landscape in its autumn colors, have a child-friendly lunch in the Mill Café and finish off with a tempting trip to the shop.
