Esrum - Esrum Kloster & Møllegård
Esrum Kloster & Møllegård

Between heaven, power and land

Esrum Kloster & Møllegård is a vibrant cultural site in the heart of North Zealand. In the Middle Ages, Esrum Kloster was a place of faith and doubt, of knowledge and influence and of a life closely connected to nature. Here people prayed, worked, cultivated the land and made decisions that reached far beyond the monastery walls.

Today, we open the door to that story. We invite you to enjoy experiences throughout the year, where you can follow in the monks’ footsteps, explore the landscape, and let history reflect the questions we still ask ourselves today.
