Between heaven, power and land

Esrum Kloster & Møllegård is a vibrant cultural site in the heart of North Zealand. In the Middle Ages, Esrum Kloster was a place of faith and doubt, of knowledge and influence and of a life closely connected to nature. Here people prayed, worked, cultivated the land and made decisions that reached far beyond the monastery walls.

Today we open the doors to that story. We invite you to experiences all year round, where you can follow in the footsteps of the monks, experience the landscape and let history reflect the questions we also ask ourselves today.
